Would RecommendI bought this pruner to cut little branches on a tree in my front yard. The pruner is for bigger branches and was ineffective with the small stems. But my son said he could use it for trees at his home, so I gifted it to him. I gave the pruner only 4 stars because the string broke while my son was using it.

Would RecommendThis pole pruner/saw is sturdy, and the fiberglass poles are easy to extend and retract. The pruner blade cuts cleanly through small branches with little effort. I removed the saw blade for future use. It would be helpful to have some type of storage or wrap for the pruner cord, because it is long and can get in the way.

Would Not RecommendDo not waste your money. This tree pruner saw is crap. The extender does not lock. The holes that are supposed to hold the extender do not latch. Therefore you are forced to cut at full extension. Whoever designed and manufactured this fiberglass piece of garbage should be prosecuted.
