What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this tool for cutting branches up to 1.5 inches with minimal effort and reaching high limbs effortlessly. The hooked blade prevents slippage during extended reaches, while the chain-driven pruner mechanism handles overhead work without ladders. Reviewers highlight the telescoping fiberglass pole with positive locking, lightweight yet sturdy oval design, and fully assembled convenience. Many express confidence in its durability and long-term value compared to cheaper alternatives. A few report chain-mechanism or blade issues, though most still consider it superior to other options.

Would Not RecommendThe rope broke several times during the first use. Knots and masking tape helped. Other than the rope breaking, it did well

I bought the 16 for trimmer a few months ago ,I find the return spring is too weak to snap the blade back in place when at full extension, have to shake it

16 ft Fiberglass Pole Pruner
Would RecommendI don't care for the small saw attached. It is rather flimsy and is in the way when cutting tree limbs of which I removed it. I absolutely love the pole trimming ability as the chain that moves the cutting hook (like a bicycle chain) is pretty cool and the pulling of the cord is smooth as a result of it. It gets real high. I was able to remove my neighbors creeping branches that continued to encroach across my garden which no longer was receiving sunlight for the plants I spent $$$ on to try...

DO NOT BUY
Would Not RecommendI bought the Fiskers pole saw and pruner. The aluminum casting on the head broke. Fiskers does not list the casting for sale. Fiskers can not be contacted by phone, only by email. When I sent a request for a new part a message was sent back to wait 4-6 weeks for a reply. I bought a Jameson pole saw, it is made in USA and has a 800 number.

Great tool needing maintenance tips
Would RecommendI have used this pole for about two years. It helped me with all the high branches in the yards. But the spring and the chain are visibly rusted that the blade no longer return to the original position. How do I clean them? Or should I replace the chain and spring?

Extremely Fragile
Would Not RecommendI was able to cut one limb before the very fragile shaft bent in half. The extendable shafts are made of very thin-walled aluminum and easily collapse. May be the worst $90. I have ever spent.

Made the Job So Much Easier
Would RecommendI had to prune 2 trees for a customer and bought a pole trimmer for $25 from Harbor Freight. They were doing a great job until I got to a tree that took my full might and breaking the rope to cut. I knew I needed something better to finish the job and was willing to spend the dime. I saw this Fiskars pole trimmer, and saw where it was 3X easier. I instantly knew this was what I needed. Took to the job the next day and finished it with ease. Wish I had these from the start, but now I ready for t...

Awesome product
Would RecommendI have used a lot of pole pruners in my life, and I have to say I like the Fiskars pole saw the most I like the double locking and how easy it is to remove and add the saw blade when needed, and the extra long pull rope. I was able to use it on a large oak tree and I had no problems. Thank you Fiskars for thinking of the average hard working person,
