What Customers Are Saying
The reel mower provides effective and precise cutting, even on shorter settings. It is easy to push and maneuver, with a height adjustment knob for quick changes. The quiet operation and lack of gas or oil requirements are additional benefits. However, some users have experienced difficulty cutting very tall or thick grass, as well as occasional issues with the height adjustment mechanism or other components. Overall, the mower is a high-quality option that works well for many users when properly maintained.

Would RecommendI have a modest-sized yard and have used both electric and gas push mowers in the past. Both do just fine, but I'm always having to stop and re-start them as I move things around, etc. And if I had to lift them above a curb, it was somewhat difficult. If feels so great to go with a manual mower like this. There is zero carbon footprint. This one has a nice, wide cutting swath. And it is as smooth as can be. It takes vurtually no effort. Even when my grass gets tall, I can manage with one arm if ...

It’s easy to use.
Would RecommendDoesn’t require gas and several pulls to possibly start. Easy to clean and store. Handle connection to mower directions weren’t the best but we figured it out.

Short grass only
Would RecommendSharp blades, well balanced but as stated it does NOT cut grass taller than 6 in. Just flattens it.

Best (no fuel) push mower
Would RecommendThis is an old fashioned push mower that works like a dream. I bought it for a small area of our lawn that’s hard to get to. Works great. Leaves clippings right on the lawn which is beneficial for the health of the grass. I love it. Highly recommend.

I will be returning this to be replaced.
Would Not RecommendThe plastic chain guard was broken and busted off the screw/nut when we opened up the box.

Worth the money
Would RecommendIt seems well put together and pushes easily and cuts well. I like having the vertical portion of the grip for pushing. My two biggest complaints are that the rear wheels may be too small (they hang up going over my sidewalk) and the front-to-rear wheelbase is so long that cutting across the drainage area in my front yard doesn't cut the bottom of the ditch so well. A previous reel mower with larger wheels and shorter wheel base did better in these two areas.

Love love love
Would RecommendFor eco-reasons, we switched from a gas mower to an electric mower about 15 years ago, but we've found that by the time the batteries stop charging, they are no longer replaceable because the manufacturer has moved on to new technology. Replacing an electric mower every 5-8 years doesn't seem so eco-friendly after all, so we decided to try a reel mower and we could not be any happier. This mower is great. It cuts the blades nice and clean and it's whisper quiet. EXCELLENT purchase!

misses a lot if grass
Would Not RecommendJust got one. Very disappointed. Had to cut the lawn 3 times to get “most” of it. Still left a lot of grass sticking up that i took the mower over probably 20 times back and forth and it would never cut it.
Works great
Would RecommendEasy to put together. Mowing a half acre with this takes about three hours total for me. Of course you wouldn't want to do that all in one go. It's a workout but it's satisfying and actually kind of fun.. unless it's 90+ degrees out. So I recommend mowing in the evenings. Since there's no noise, you won't be disturbing neighbors. If you find it's too hard, just set the blades higher. Up to 3 inches is fine for most grasses. Good luck!

Must not let grass get too tall, mow frequently!
Would RecommendDoes great job on level ground and near landscape edging
If your grass is over 6” tall, it will not cut it
Would RecommendPretty simple to put together and it’s easy to push. It’s so quiet.
Pluses and minuses
Would RecommendThis mower was easy to assemble and effectively cuts most grass. The height of the cut is easy to adjust. Two challenges for this device: it has difficulty getting the edges by a fence or wall and if you roll over long grass the grass pressed down by the wheel may not spring back to get cut on the next swipe, so there may be a mohawk effect.
Not for me or my yard
My lawn is tiny (24x48 FEET), bumpy, hilly, with a fairly diverse collection of grass, clover, and weeds. I found this mower to be very heavy and very hard to turn. The push handle doesn't lock in place and I never figured out why that would be a design feature. It also seems to just push thick grass down rather than cutting it so now I have a huge patch of grass that has grown exponentially in the recent rains. As others have stated, this will probably work for you if your lawn looks like a put...
Optional grass catcher (not included) is horrible.
Would Recommend1. No grass catcher included. 2. Optional grass catcher (not included) is horrible. 3. Front wheels stick out kind of far. 4. Would be better with rollers instead of wheels. 5. The cut is pretty even and contours to the ground (i cut at 1 1/4 in)
