What Customers Are Saying
The reel mower provides effective and precise cutting, even on shorter settings. It is easy to push and maneuver, with a height adjustment knob for quick changes. The quiet operation and lack of gas or oil requirements are additional benefits. However, some users have experienced difficulty cutting very tall or thick grass, as well as occasional issues with the height adjustment mechanism or other components. Overall, the mower is a high-quality option that works well for many users when properly maintained.

Would RecommendI bought this unit 8 years ago, have cut the lawn almost every week with it and have done very little maintenance. Oiled the chain a couple of times but never sharpened the blade and it still cuts very well. Kind of like an EV in that it doesn't pollute, performs well and has extremely low maintenance costs. If I amortize out the cost, it's cost me less than $1 per mowing.
Easy to use
Would RecommendMy 14 yo son put it together and had great fun racing around the yard with his siblings chasing him. Seems to be very easy to push and mowed surprisingly well. Very happy so far.

Using this mower is a good way to burn calories.
Would RecommendI purchased this mower to cut my Zoysia grass out front. I chose to assemble the item and was able to do so with little effort, just attaching the handle. The mower has a 1-4 inch cutting height which adjusts very easily. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. No gasoline, just my power cuts the lawn.

Didn't last one complete mow
Would Not RecommendBlade seized within 5 minutes of use. A burr developed on the blade locking up the machine. Not worth it at any price.

Good for small jobs, thats it.
Would Not RecommendIts great for cutting bermuda grass. Its pretty heavy to lift and not very mobile. If the grass gets too thick it doesn't cut, even if only cutting a little bit. The handle isn't very sturdy. The bag (sold separately) is expensive and just doesnt work well. You have plastic thumb screws you must tighten. Even then, the bag still sags. I'm afraid to overtighten or the plastic will break. I will continue to use it for my front yard (~.15ac) where I have bermuda and use an electric mower for my b...

Easy to assemble, and cuts most of the grass.
Would RecommendThe height adjustments are very easy and the handle is super comfortable. It is super easy to push, almost like an gas walk behind. The only thing i didn't like was that because the blades don't actually make contact with each other they wouldn't always cut everything. Thin grass or the spindly seed stalks pass through the blade gap.

Terrific mower
Would RecommendTakes work but cuts very cleanly and mostly evenly. I do have to take a trimmer to taller vegetation if I let it grow but it does a great job. The blades need to be calibrated every now and then, so keep a wrench on you.

Solid but heavy and hard to push
Would Not RecommendHard to push (despite claims to be easier to push than similar mowers), and uneven cutting. My grass looks like a goat chewed it off. Moves well on perfectly flat surface but if you have any incline or uneven ground, or twigs or rocks, pass on this one.

Twice the weight of other brands
Heavy. Bulky. If you're older like me, then this is not a good choice. This is designed for a flat yard, with enough room to get a running start

I used a cheap reel mower for 4 years and it finally broke, so I decided to spend a little more money on this one, and I have not regretted it. It cuts faster, is much quieter, and is easier to push than my previous mower. Well worth it. We have named it “The Tumbler,” because it kind of looks like the Batmobile.
Best Manual Reel Mower
Would RecommendBest and easiest manual reel push mower I've tried. I have 4 different manual reel mowers and this is the best of them all. Much easier to push threw the yard. I just got it and only used it once so far, but I like it the best.
