What Customers Are Saying
The reel mower provides effective and precise cutting, even on shorter settings. It is easy to push and maneuver, with a height adjustment knob for quick changes. The quiet operation and lack of gas or oil requirements are additional benefits. However, some users have experienced difficulty cutting very tall or thick grass, as well as occasional issues with the height adjustment mechanism or other components. Overall, the mower is a high-quality option that works well for many users when properly maintained.

Does a good job cutting without the need to go over the grass multiple times. It’s a bit heavy and awkward but overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

Great while it lasted
Would Not RecommendI used this mower exactly once. It worked great on my front yard. A few minutes after starting the backyard, the reel became jammed against the fixed blade. Took 2 full days to loosen the adjustment bolts so that I could try to adjust the alignment. Had to order new tools because nothing I had would work. Ended up having to use a combination of socket wrench and hammer to loosen them. One of the bolts was inserted at an angle and once loosened it will now not go back in. Was able to get clearanc...
Great Reel Push Mower
Would RecommendI love this mower and it works great as long as you mow the grass before it gets taller that 6". It you wait that long the grass will just get pushed down. That is when you have to get our the weed eater. I've used the mower with and without the grass catcher.
poorly engineered and overpriced
Would Not RecommendPurchased this reel mower to give a newly renovated lawn its first cut. The handle requires assembly (takes about 1/2hour) and that will reveal the design flaw. It has no position where it will lock in place. While they claim this to be part of the design, it makes even a healthy adult struggle to get this moving through a nice lawn. The problem is the lack of transfer of force (wheb one pudhes the mower) the handle will make you push downwards and forwards, to get the unit moving. The real fun ...
It doesn't cut weeds with thick waxy stems.
Inexpensive, super quiet, takes up very little storage space, great for a small lawn

Product development not completed!
Would Not RecommendApparently uses some sort of roller clutch in each drive wheel to turn blade reel or to let blade reel spin. Roller clutch fails. I have about 5,000 sq ft of grass. Fiskar mower now 1 1/2 years old. At 5 months started having clutch lock and not let reel free spin. That also means you have to overcome inertia to make blade spin backwards when pulling mower back to you in push/pull situations. Always an intermittent problem but went from rare to frequent. Very fatiguing especially in back & forth...
Not your grandpa's reel mower
Would RecommendThis mower is nothing like the traditional reel mower I tried once. It's not effortless, but it's easy to push. I have a 6000 sq ft lawn on a walkout lot, so it has some slope. I work up a good sweat, but I'm able to mow it in about an hour. After a couple mows, the set screw that connects the small chain sprocket to the reel axle fell out. I had to submit a warranty claim online (phone line is no longer available), and 3 weeks later I had new parts. I'm taking away a star for the early warranty...
Oddly satisfying.
Would RecommendFiskars makes good products, and this is no exception. Easy to push, cuts evenly, and doesn't require any fuel or electricity. Obviously, also much quieter than any gas or electric model, but it's not silent - the sound it makes as one pushes it smoothly along is really satisfying. Bottom line, it works really well and is a lot of fun to use. Also pretty low maintenance, only thing I do is keep it out of the rain.
Perfect for me!
Would RecommendI have a smaller yard and have never been someone who enjoyed yard work. This mower makes my life so much easier! I received a manual with clear instructions, simple diagrams and a tips document. The handle near the blades allows me to pick the mower up to go down the front steps. Adjusting the height is easily done with one hand. I wish the blades also cut when pulling the machine in reverse, but other than that, I am 100% satisfied and happy I gave it a try!!
First reel mower
Would RecommendFirst reel mower does what it says and great for environment with no pollution. Eco-friendly
Terrible handle design
Would Not RecommendThis is the worst mower I've ever purchased. The problem is how the handle attaches to the mower. Instead of using nuts and bolts to secure the handle in what should be no less than four points, the handle is affixed in only two spots with cotter pins. This causes the handle to swivel upward rather than pushing the mower forward. You end up fighting the handle rather than making any progress on your lawn.
