Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great upgrade from my last hatchet. I put this through a rugged test chopping up hard wood stumps on my property. The fiberglass handle and design really helped with kickback from the chopping and it stayed sharp through all of the cutting. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new hatchet.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X7 Hatchet did a great job chopping the limbs off of the trees. Fiskars is great brand in my opinion. The X7 Hatchet did not let me down. Gotta love that is has a "full lifetime warranty". It says it's "virtually unbreakable". I think if I tried hard enough I could break, but with normal use it should stand up great. It also said it "chops up to 3x deeper". I don't know if that is true, because I don't know how deep it should chop. ...

Lightweight but sturdy

It's just the right size for cutting smaller blocks of wood and even with the handle being plastic, it feels sturdy and strong in your hand. The shaft of the handle is a nice length to adjust grip based on your hand size or leverage needed. Both my wife and I have used this hatchet with ease. The protective cover over the blade locks in place is a plus.

The Fiskars X7 Hatchet (14") will definitely last. I have used this for chopping wood in the fireplace and for the bar-b-que. I highly recommend this.

Powerful lil’ tool

The blade is sharp, it’s lightweight, and the blade is sharp to cut through my stubborn weeds and thicket in my yard. I like the sleeve that keeps the hatchet blade safe. I hang it in the garage when not in use.

It has a lifelong warranty, which tells me that this is a reliable tool, because why would they give a lifelong warranty for something that would easily break?
