A very well made escape ladder, but it did not fit

Sadly, it did not fit my 2nd floor window frame n my 10 year old home. Have to return it. :(

Too heavy

Super disappointed. I sent my husband to buy this for our daughter whose bedroom is upstairs. I thought I'd feel safer if I knew she could get out the window, should there be a fire. When he came home with it I could barely lift it out of the trunk. I asked our daughter to lift it to see if she could even get it in the window. No deal. It's way too heavy. What's the point?

Good, very stable and a lot of support. Perfect for fire escapee or tree house latter. Preferably a fire escape latter.

Great product

I am impressed with the design of this product. It is very sturdy and packaged extremely well. What I mean by the packaging is that you can use the ladder for practice and then put it away again in the holder exactly the way it came, compact and ready to use again in a hurry. This product does exactly what it is supposed to do and the price is right.

Excellent design, quality, value and peace of mind

First Alert was really thinking when they designed this excellent product. The box that it comes in is compact for easy storage and the ladder is incredibly well packaged for quick access and use. The steps are wide and have little feet, so that when you climb down the ladder your toes have space between the ladder and the wall, and is secure for an emergency situation. In addition, the price is great for such a high quality product. I also have other emergency ladders that are bulky and awkward...
