Sturdy product and a must for upstairs safety

Very durable and easy to use. A bit heavy for children to handle, but likely because it is so sturdy.

Every 2 storey home needs escape ladder.

I like the design of the rectangular step rungs which provide a more sturdy step compared to other designs, the ladder seems well constructed. I hope they never need them but I purchased 3 of them, one for each of my grown children and their families. I would have liked it even more if the ladder had an additional strap to hold onto as you climb out the window.

Only a precaution. Likely never use it, but if needed, it’s better than jumping out a 2nd story window onto a concrete deck. I did put it out the window and it reached the ground perfectly, but I didn’t try climbing down—looks dangerous.

Makes us feel safe to have this

This escape ladder provides great peace of mind. We sleep upstairs and we have easy access to our garage roof if needed in an emergency. We’ve now stowed this ladder, all folded up, in the corner of the garage roof, so in case of emergency we don’t have to jump from the garage roof to the driveway. It feels very secure and steady.
