What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these detectors for reliability and clear voice alerts that specify room location, enabling quick response during emergencies. The photoelectric sensor excels at detecting slow-smoldering fires, and dual smoke and carbon monoxide detection eliminates the need for separate units. Installation is effortless—customers describe it as plug-and-play with included adapters that fit existing mounts, requiring no rewiring. The interconnected system allows multiple units to communicate and sound simultaneously, providing comprehensive home protection. A small group reports occasional false alarms during cooking and notes the battery compartment is awkward to access, though most consider the investment justified for safety.

Pro's 1. Voice message denoting room/area where alarm condition was detected. 2. Differentiation between smoke/fire and carbon monoxide alarm condition. 3. horrible

Would Not Recommend

Horrible product: there is a talking setup menu that is the same volume as the alarm. So you have to let it scream at you for a couple of minutes when you install it. Mine is now in the trash and will be replaced by a non-talking one.
