Micro smoke alarm
Would RecommendEnjoy the size of the alarm. Have tested it's usefulness as of yet, but I have no concerns. Glad to have a widely available alternative to the regular larger smoke alarm.

Best little smoke detector out there.
Would RecommendThis smoke detector is small enough to put in any location. It is also one of the best smoke detectors on the market.

Smoke alarm
Would RecommendI like the fact that there is no need to remember to change batteries annually. Batteries last the life of the detector (10 years). It is also so small it can discreetly be placed any where.

Many false alarms
Would Not RecommendAfter replacing two of them and now we are on our third smoke detector we are through with these. They've gone off randomly for no reason sometimes at 2 or 3 in the morning. They are extremely loud which is good, but I almost hurt myself jumping out of bed this last time trying to turn it off. I'm hoping to get a refund from the warranty department. Junk
Defective
Would Not RecommendInstalled according to the instructions and the unit would not turn off. Called customer service and was told to pull the deactivate switch. It still didnt turn off. I had to take it apart. I will will say this thing is crazy loud.
Amazing, Modern, Elegant.
Great design! I have installed 7 of these throughout my home. Along with a hardwired First Alert Smoke, Fire, and Carbon Monoxide Detector. This might seem like overkill... But, I think that over alerting my family earlier with multiple units to wake them up faster is worth every dollar! The thought of losing a loved one due to smoke inhalation (which is the main killer in a fire) and or fire makes me sick to my stomach.
4 out of 5 dectectors May not be bad but...
I got 5 when they hit store, 2 years later one traumatized my dashiund, it started double beeping then increased in frequency, I can no longer climb ladders but had to stop the thing. Pulled down and pulled deactivate tab, but nothing happened. Still beeped, rolled in towel and threw in washer. Dogs could still hear it so I put outback. Rain finally stopped it. Other four are at regular ceiling height in case they fail. Returning it now, see what Lowes does. I wish it was still beeping so they c...
invisible protection
Would RecommendThese are awesome and a little pricey but they’re worth the extra cost in my opinion. Theyre small enough that you barely notice them on the ceiling unlike those flying saucer 70s models they still sell. You know..the ones that turn nicotine stain yellow after a couple of years and that false if you pass gad near them! Anyway, these come with 10yr lithium batteries (which arent cheap) are a breeze to mount (theyre light enough to mount in drywall without anchors if you must) and the indicator...
