10 year smoke detector
Would RecommendI replaced the smoke detectors in the house when I purchased in July 2015. I purchased this new smoke detector. It also has a 10 year warranty. Like everything else today it’s pricey. All it takes is one time you need a smoke detector, it pays for itself.

Would Not RecommendI purchased this to replace the one I just bought last year exact same product. The battery life might be 10 years but good luck getting that out of the alarm itself. I would’ve chose a different one but Lowe’s doesn’t have a lot of choices when it comes to fire/carbon monoxide alarms. Mine started going off randomly with no cause for two weeks until finally I smashed it with a broom and bought a new one.

Would Not Recommend3rd one in 2 years, they don't last. Poorly made. Starts false alarm and once you deactivate cannot be activated again. For $50 it should last like they claim 10 years. Worth $10 not $50.

Would Not RecommendAfter having these alarms installed for less than (3) months, one of them just gave a false Fire Alarm (3-beeps) twice, in a 5-minute period. It really started me, as I was working in my home office at the time, with no one else home, nothing cooking on the stove, etc... I really wish I had read these reviews before purchasing (3) of them to replace our aging CO/Fire detectors. I would return them to Lowe's, but I am just past the return period. Very disappointed!

Would Not Recommendget the 3 beeps indicating smoke... happens all times of day and night randomly then before we can get to it, it stops. so annoying for something that costs almost $50
