Would Not RecommendI bought it and one week later at 4:46AM it started blaring saying "SMOKE, EVACUATE". There was no smoke. It went off after being hushed two more times and there is a whole reddit dedicated to how it does this. I had to permanently disable it to get it to stop.

Constant false alarms
Would Not RecommendI bought two to replace an older version purchased from Costco. These things randomly go off multiple times a day, smoke alarm blares and scares my dogs. No rhyme or reason. It got to the point where I couldn't make heads or tails of it, so I vacuum sealed them into bags. They randomly go off, in the bag. With next to no atmosphere for them to detect anything. Complete and total garbage, maybe I got a bad lot somehow but I can't recommend something that encourages you to ignore it.

10 Year Faulty Alarms
Would Not RecommendWe purchased 8 of these alarms in 2024 and have had nothing but issues with them going off for no reason. We have 4 alarms our the 8 purchased that had gone off stating there was smoke detected when there was no smoke. Try to get a refund from Lowe's for the $380 with no success. Was told that we would need to reach out the First Alert regarding the issues we were having. First Alert would not give us a refund either and would only replace the alarms when we have any issues.
