Would RecommendEasy to install, I replaced my old detectors with these. The mounting plate had enough mounting hole options such that I didn’t need to drill new holes, just reused the old screws in their original place. Voice instructions for final setup built in….nice!

A bit touchy to set the location.
Would RecommendIt took me repeated attempts to get the location set to what I wanted because the contact action of the button was so touchy. Other than that, the sound is sufficiently loud and clear and mounting was simple enough. As for accuracy of function, let's hope I never need to find out.

Would Not RecommendInstalled this in 2 rooms and thought I was done with the annoying chirps. I am now throwing out the second of these smoke detectors at just short of 2 years after purchase. The manufactured date stamped on the back is “2019 JUN 18”. Today’s date 4/27/2021. Maybe common core math says that’s 10 years, I don’t know.

Would RecommendUnit is marked Jan 24 2018. Installed in early 2018. April 2021 the unit starts chirping. Note on the back says ONE "CHIRP"/MINUTE - REPLACE ALARM At $58/unit I will be passing and replacing this with a $30 combo battery powered unit where the alarm will be good for 10 yrs.

Would RecommendThis item is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector. Has a self contained battery that's good for 10 years. I have at leasr one on every floor of our home. They give me peace of mind knowing we will be alerted if there is a home emergency.

Would RecommendMy husband’s hearing impairment affects the range of sounds he can distinguish. This model solved that problem and makes it easy for him to hear and understand the voice location and status of the smoke alarm and carbon dioxide level warnings. It was easy to set up, but had to learn from a YouTube video how to push up the button on the back to reprogram a different location. The instructions don’t explain this step.
