Would RecommendIt's too soon to write much of a review. Easy to install if you follow the directions, but my criteria for an excellent would be how long it works or functions properly. It is barely 2 months since purchased. Comparable purchase price compared to other brands.

Would Not RecommendHaven’t had this for more than 3 months and it started chirping every minute signaling it was time to replace device at 6 A.M. on a weekend. Not sure how this claims to last 10 years and based on other reviews, there is a definite problem First Alert should address. There is no battery to replace so the whole device gets deactivated and discarded. No one has $50 to throw away. Save yourself the headache and money!
