Works great and caught CO leak

Ours went off and we called the fire department who came out with a CO meter and confirmed we had a slow CO leak from our furnace. The fire department confirmed 48ppm CO near the detector so this was a good early catch by the detector! Fire department also found 339ppm at the furnace, so it would be good to add a CO detector to the room or area the furnace is in. While the batteries may appear difficult to remove, you just have to push up on them from underneath instead of trying to pull them...

Changing Batteries

After owning for a year or so. Woke us up at 1:30 am Telling us batteries low(As it should). Try to change the batteries AA not 9 volt. Not enough room to remove batteries. Ending up breaking battery tray.

Perfect replacement

Needed to replace my hardwired unit and did not want to have to deal with rewiring. This fit perfectly on the base. All I needed to do was twist and remove. This one then twisted right into place.

False alarms after 3 months!

After 3 months, the smoke alarm portion of this alarm failed. No fire, tried button resets, a battery pull and power cut-offs, but it would not stop false alarming. Returned.

Great Replacement! Change every 10 years!

Our new home had cheap builder grade First Alert/BRK hardwired, smoke only/Ionization only smoke detectors (9120B). They need to be replaced every ten years. So we replaced some with these, so we could have CO detection in the bedrooms, and some with dual Photoelectric and Ionization smoke detectors (3120B). voice is super loud

These have a programmable voice to let you know which room has the alert. They ate very loud and get the job done. Hopefully I never need them to do their job and they expire first.

Work Great

Bought these I stead of the ones in the fancy plastic case. These are the same part number by the same manufacturer for much cheaper. Work great and don't go off when cooking bacon.

Awesome product

Awesome product. We bought this for our rental property due to its quality. But we didn't even know about the voice function that comes with it. Very modern, and will definitely help with ensuring our property is up to fire code.
