This SMI110 replaced the older 0827B. I replaced all of mine a few years ago to the 0827B and overall have had good luck with them. Had one fail after only 4 years of service, disappointing when it mentions 10 years, but still like the product and not having to constantly change 9 Volt Batteries. If you take into account of the price of batteries these days, these are well worth the investment.
