low battery after 17 days
Would Not RecommendI purchased a 6 pack & paid to have the detectors installed. One is already chirping for a low battery. I called Lowe's to determine how to have the battery or detector replaced as defective. I was transferred from customer service to electric, who then transferred me back to customer service during which time the call disconnected. I now have to wait for First Alert's call center to open to try to obtain a replacement/battery. I purchased a 10 year battery set for a reason

Good product poor delivery service
The product is fine. My order was mishandled and it took 4 phone calls to two areas in Lowe’s to get it delivered. It ended up over two weeks late.

Would RecommendI like that the base plates align perfectly well with the old mounting location using the same screws from the old smoke detectors. Only thing I don't like is these smoke detectors did not come with their own mounting screws.
