The battery insert and removal tray is better than other designs I am familiar with. Easy to install replacement

I ordered this to replace another unit. Installation was as easy as removing two screws and changing the base to the base provided with this unit. The old wire connector worked with this unit. It works flawlessly.

My husband tested and installed this photoelectric sensor in our 1990's home. Installation was simple and completed less than 15 minutes. We chose the First Alert because of the good reviews and we already had them in the upper level of our home.
