Great shredder poor paper bin design

The shredder tends to miss the bin with some of the shredder paper. This makes it hard to fit the bin back in after you empty it. Plus the opening is just plastic and makes it hard to get the bin to lick in place. Have to take care to make sure it is properly secured otherwise the bin open up and the shredder stops. Bad design

Durability

The black clips on the bottom of the collection basket pop of very easy and are lost in the shredding paper. Would recommend some other type.

Not the Best Purchase Ever

So I did like 6 thin pieces of paper at one time and then it made this noise and stopped working!

Fantastic Replacement Choice

I purchased the Powershred 99Ci shredder as a replacement. I expected something comparable to the previous product. I was in for a surprise. The Fellows Powershred far surpassed my expectations. The shredder is quiet, efficient, and I love the safety features. I only regret not making this investment sooner.

Rugged machine

This is our second machine. The first on lasted for about 6 years and started having minor problems with jamming. Overall it lasted for about 7 years before we needed to buy a new machine. Near the end of it's life cycle, we had to cut down to about 5 sheets of paper in order for it not to jam. We replaced it with the same machine because we feel that it served us very well and lasted a long time for how often we use it. Brand new it performs perfectly and is very jam resistant.

Literally Best Shredder I've ever owned

I wouldn't go so far as to say it was my Best Purchase Ever, as the example would suggest, but it is by far the best shredder I've ever purchased. It is quiet, the SafeSense feature gives me peace of mind with grandkids running around, and it just massacres paper, credit cards and cds. Best feature?? I don't even have to open the junk mail to run it through the shredder. Just feed the unopened stuff right in.. Great job Fellowes!!

Wise Choise

After looking at different ones on line this one had good reviews and priced reasonable. We do a lot of shredding so I hope it holds up.

Replaced same model that worked very hard for 10 years!

This is the perfect size and model for a home office where I shred both personal and business junk mail and documents. I had a good 10 years with the last shredder of the same model. I told myself to always buy Fellowes as they were always there to help whenever I had a problem. Best Shredder Ever

Have had 2 shredders before the 99Ci but both of them failed to perform as advertised and only lasted a short time. The 99Ci performs as advertised and runs quietly and smoothly. Its a pleasure to work with such a fine piece of machinery.

Like the new lightweight basket

This is a replacement for our older 99ci model. We like the lighter weight basket.

Newly Purchased

Bought this shredder when my old one died and parts were not available. Read the reviews and it seemed to have pretty good user satisfaction. So far, it has done a great job on several hundred sheets of paper of varying thickness. Happy so far with the speed, quietness, and size of the waste bin.

Just What We Needed

This shredder is perfect for our office. Its a sleek design, not bulky at all, and easy to move. It seems very powerful and we are able to shred muliple papers without worrying about a jam. It was a wonderful purchase and I would reccommend to anyone who has constant shredding that needs done.

Powerful Jam free shredder

This is a perfect height sitting next to an office desk. If you have a lot of documents etc, that must be shredded; this is a great shredder. It will keep up.
