Excellent Product in a small work environment

This is my first time to purchase this shredder & I'm happy with the product in term of design & safety issue. Machine run very quiet and have all the features I need. I do recommend my friends to purchase this machine when they need a shredder.

Better than the reviews indicate!

I love my new Fellowes 79Ci. It is a replacement for a less-than-two-year-old Royal shredder that stopped working; it was of similar size and shredding capacity to the 79Ci. As to the reviews I read before purchasing this shredder: (1) Some reviewers had trouble getting the casters in. I had very little difficulty; with just a little wiggling of the caster, it slipped right in. (2) Reviewers complained about the bin not shutting if it is partially full with shredded paper. excellent shredder

We were determined not to have limitations of previous inexpensive shredder and were not disappointed. My wife enthusiastically shredded several years of materials over several days. The machine never hesitated or overheated. We believe the difference in quality was well worth paying for [this machine was not as expensive as some others we looked at from a well known office store supplier].

POWERSHRED 79Ci REVIEW

This shredder is exactly the product that was advertised.It is the quietest shredder that I have personally operated. Fine Shredder and quiet

This is a fine shredder and quiet. It would be nice to have a longer run time with a shorter cool down time. Needs larger bin for shredded paper.

Fool Proof Usage

After trying to use other shredders, frustration was always prominent in using. Even putting in one sheet at a time, removing staples, etc., the other machines would jam. This Fellowes shredder fulfills all of my needs and is so easy to use!!

Quality roduct

My old Fellowes Shredder PS-77c jammed for the last time. I could not unjam it, so I looked for a shredder that had some sort of jam prevention. I zeroed in on the Powershred 79Ci since it seemed to have anti-jam feature. It was a little more than I expected to pay, but it works great, hasn't jammed and I would buy it again.

Fellowes 79CI Shredder

When I read it was a crosscut shredder I thought it was like the one I owned before this. My old one ( a different brand ) really cut paper in to small pieces this one you can pickup strips and read them. You have to be careful how you feed the paper into the machine.

Best Purchase Ever

This is one heck of a shredder. It tells you when the bin is full and even has an energy saving function where it sleeps when not in use. Very strong and can cut multiple pages with ease. Highly recommended indeed.

I love this shredder!

It fits great in my office and is well designed. Shreds great and have not had any jams! Is so pleasantly designed you don't even notice it sitting in the corner. Other shredders in our building are big and noisy. This one is a nice size and is soooooo quiet!

So far so good

Have only had this product for 10 days but so far it has worked like a charm. Shreds quietly and efficiently up to 10 sheets of paper, cards and small staples. So far we have not had any jams or problems but will review again after we use it awhile longer and see if oiling it goes well. Long story short so far everyone in the office loves it. We hope it will last us for quite awhile.

Replaced a Fellowes DM8C

I finally broke my current Fellowes DM8C shredder that only lasted through 8 years of abuse! Fed more then it's rated number of pages and jammed it often. I put stuff in it that didn't need to fed into a non-commercial shredder. Wasn't aware of need to oil, so it NEVER was oiled. I will treat my new 79ci with more respect and I expect to it will outlast me. I can live with the smaller chad bin considering the new features like safety, anti-jam, and the casters are a real plus.

Our Powershred® 79Ci 100% Jam Proof Cross-Cut Shredder allows us to shred all of our sensitive paper quickly and quietly without us having to stop to wait for it to cool down. It is much quieter and faster than our old shredder that it replaced. We are pleased with the overall quality of the shredder.

Smooth operation

It runs smoothly and fairly quiet compared to other brands I have used. So far very happy with it. Only had it in use for a week.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

This was the first time I purchased this product and it was awesome. The reasons why I liked this product because of the safety features, sheet capacity, quiet operation, jam resistance, secure cut size, shreds credit wards, staples and CDs and many other useful features which cannot be found with other brands of shredder.

Outstanding Security
