Would Not RecommendOverall the screws are a great idea and when you can get them driven all the way in they work great. But getting them screwed all the way in is a challenge. My project required 6 screws. They first 2 went in great but then the wheels fell off. The next 2 screws made it in and I needed about 3 revolutions to seat it and the screw heads stripped out. I couldn't drive them down or back them out. So when I got done I used 9 screws to get 6 set and there are 3 that are still raised. You would think t...

Works as expected
Would RecommendDoes a great job, I used these to secure handrails through a 4x4. I drilled a 3/16" pilot hole and countersunk the hole just about 1/8" with a 5/8" paddle bit and it made a nice, flush appearance. Expensive, but appears to be of good quality. Also nice that they include the T40 bit needed to drive these.

Good, but Check the Drive
Would RecommendThese are well designed and quality screws - BUT, check the drive that comes in the pack. The drive in the pack I bought was too small, and the screws don't take the standard star drives. So open it up, pull out a screw and the drive and ensure the match!!!!

Better than lag bolts
Would RecommendI used these to anchor a railing to our deck and was I impressed..... I did pre-drill the rail but not the deck supports I anchored to they drove right in with my 20V drill/driver. With the countersink they look better than lag bolts and it sure seems they are a lot more sturdy than lag bolts. Time will tell but so far I highly recommend these screws!

Great screws, just buy extra
Would RecommendBought a 12 pack and one was bent at a 30 degree angle when I opened the container. They work great at putting together larger wood products. Make sure you have a good drill because it takes a decent drill to get these puppies installed all the way.
