Awesome saw! Strong and reliable and combined with an evolution steel blade, it’s unstoppable. My buddy had this saw and I used it for about 6 months before I opened my own welding shop. I didn’t even look anywhere else, when it was time to get a chop saw I went straight to evolution!

I bought this saw to replace an older Evolution 10" compound saw. This saw is a beast of power and I am very satisfied with its performance. The new design is far superior to any other metal saw I have used. Great product!

The quality of the tool is outstanding. Right out of the box the blade cut square with the fence and also square with the table. I purchased the stand with the saw and everything was good on the stand except for the vertical supports for the outfeed tubes were to far off center from where the weight of the metal sat. Also the cutoff stop was not square with the fence. But overall I am very pleased with the saw and would recommend buying it.

Works as advertised
I made many cuts with the S380CPS and 14in. 66T blade the first day after purchasing the pair. They worked as advertised. Fast cuts, square and accurate, and minimal clean up or heat.

Cuts much faster than my benchtop band saw. Cuts are very accurate. It does throw metal shavings all over, but that is to be expected from a chop saw.

No more abrasive saws for me
After years of fighting hot metal, sparks flying everywhere and generally a horrible mess from using an abrasive cut-off saw, I finally got an S380CPS saw. So far, the saw has been perfect except for one or two tiny items I think might could be better. It still gets 5 out of 5 stars from me. Cuts fast, cuts clean, cuts true and last but not least, cuts cool. I like it!

I absolutely love the saw, it makes super good clean cuts. I’m not as impressed with the stand, it hasn’t held up very well. And I have had a small issue were it eats up blades. Brand new and they are dull within a few short hours. This is only happened on two blades. Otherwise I am extremely happy with this saw!
