Evolution Chop Saw S380CPSI
I replaced my old band saw with the Evolution Chop Saw and what a up grade this was the saw cuts faster and straighter than anything I have used, the finished cut can go right to the Mill or Lathe. The pieces cut go right to the welding table, very little or no filing needed.

I have been using a abrasive saw and so messy and unhealthy Now I bought the 15 inch and what a difference great saw It cuts steel just as fast as cutting wood with my 12 inch chop saw Thank you Evolution

Was bigger and heavier than I thought but. That being said it’s awesome. Way better than an abrasive wheel chop saw. I was cutting 1/2” sq bar and with the s380cps it was like butter. The burr was non existent and the material was cool enough to pick up and handle seconds after the cut.

Saw feels really solid, and the solid stops for the vice is a very nice touch. Motor has plenty of power and hasn't been tripping the breaker like my last saw

Awesome Saw!
This saw works extremely well for cutting 2 X 3 X .120 wall tubing and 1 1/2" square tubing w/.120 wall. I've also cut other solid steel stock with no problems at all. Also, this saw has an acme thread which is what you want over a standard thread. I also added a few drops of oil onto the threads to prevent galling. I used a small square to make sure the jaw was at a right angle to the blade because the movable spring-loaded pin has too much slop in it to repeat correctly. Other than that I have...

S380CPS
So far, so good. Cuts easily and cleanly. Cuts are quite square considering the size of the saw base. It should give good service to me as a hobbyist. I do not handle it roughly but have successfully cut 1 1/4 square annealed 4140. Not sure how long it would last in a production shop.

I had the original 380 and was pretty happy with it. There were a few issues that I had with it that seem to have been addressed based on user feedback. I have to say that’s rare and keeps me coming back to Evolution.

Great saw from great company
Great saw with a sturdy cast aluminium base. I like the 0 and 45-degree position stops in the vice fence. I use these the most and they are accurate and quick to set.
