Would RecommendI have used these to start logs in our woodburning stove for two seasons now and they are an excellent product. I use them with a couple of pieces of fatwood and some pine kindling to start the big logs. Voila.

Not off to a good start for NEW fireplace owners!
Would Not RecommendI purchased these fire starters because they are environmentally friendly and they smell sensational! Not a good first experience... To start, I put 2 small seasoned oak logs from a bag that I purchased from Lowes in the fireplace. I then put 1 cup under the log like the directions say and it burned for like 10 minutes and then went out, barely heating the 2 small logs, just smoked a good bit, had to opened the doors for a second. I then put another cup and repeated....... 6 times.. :( All I got...

Would RecommendI used this starter for the first time this weekend. What a great product. Fast, clean and no resadue left. There is no question I will use this starter again. I suggest anyone interested in a fantastic product that works. Try the Envoro-log firestarters. Once you do you will never use anything else.
