Excellent Fire Starter

This particular fire starter product works very well. I have tried a variety of competitive products and this one is as good or better than any of the others.

I've used many brands/types of fire starters over the years and these are the best! First used them last fall (beginning of wood stove season) and they never failed me. And, a nice plus, they smell awesome! Anyone familiar with New England during the holidays, that's what these smell like!

Surprised

I typically use a different product to start fires in my wood stove but I picked this up to try it out. It did amazing and had a very pleasant aroma. The little cups don't look like they would start a fire but it really only takes one!

Not all of my wood is 100% seasoned, it's nice to have an easy to use "helper" to get things rolling !

Great fire starter

This is a great fire starter. Clean and easy to use. We do set the starter cup on top of a brick so the flames are closer to the logs. Works great once you get the hang of it.

Absolutely no problems with this product. Burns fast and clean.

Really bad odor

These puppies smell so bad I have to keep the box wrapped in a plastic bag in the utility room. I guess its supposed to be some sort of "fragrance". They will usually start a fire in my woodstove with just one of the little cups - as advertised. But sometimes I've needed two, or even more. The information given does NOT say if they are safe to use with a catylitic combustor, so I don't know if they are harmful to such stoves or not. In any event, I will not be buying them again.

WOW is all I can say

I have tried finding a way to start a fire in my fire pit for months so I saw the enviro-log starters and decided to give them a try and it worked GREAT!!! I would recommend these for all your fire starter needs.

Simple and Long-lasting

These cups are genius. So simple to light and they burn for several minutes giving your fire plenty of fuel to get started. I got them for $.50/piece which is pretty good I think. Will definitely purchase more but my supply should last me awhile.

Love this Firestarter!

Have used different things in the past, but this was the easiest to light and start the logs in the fire pit. It is clean and lights easily and burns long enough to get the logs going. Will definitely buy this product again.

Very Effective product

The product is very effective. Only one cup per fire is needed. After the onset of the fire, the logs will eventually begin to burn.
