Couldn't do without them!

Have used these fire starters for years. They are great for reliably getting a fire going. I start stocking up on them in the fall.

Flames is not high enough to light the logs

I use these every winter ,they are perfect to start a fire in my woodstove, lowes had the cheapest price so i will continue to purchase this from them.

Works as advertised

I usually like to use paper to start a fire in my fireplace but I happened to see these while shopping at my local Lowe's and decided to give them a try since the cost was low enough to justify a trial. They burn at least 20 minutes as advertised maybe even longer. I use much less kindling and way less effort to get the fire roaring than usual. The flame is nice and tall which is excellent since I use a grate and it's a few inches off the bottom of the firebox so I was concerned it might not rea...

These little gems are fantastic. I purchased them because the logs were out of stock. Lite easily and instantly.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LOGS!

Used 2 logs to start fire in my fire pit. Worked very well--other methods that I used also worked too! May burn some in indoor fireplace when weather turns cold. No complaints but small logs used to be 3 pounds; these are 2.5 each!

Impressive Light

I'm officially impressed with this simple product. One cup lit up 6 quarter logs with nothing in between. If I were a charcoal user, I would use these to light charcoal and cook with it even though these are not recommended for cooking.

Best fire starters

We heat by wood and these are the best. No smelly residue like similar produces.

Not reliable

You will still need kindling and dry seasoned wood. Doesn't last very long.

Not That Great

The producy foed start a firr. However, meltrd wax ends up on the floor of fireplace.

Enviro-Log pink ones better than lime ones?

The first box of these I bought had a pink color to them. They all lit very quickly. Recently bought another box that had lime colored cups. So far I've used three lime colored ones and they seem to be more difficult to get started. Don't know if Enviro-Log changed formulation, but thought I would relay this information.

Started my fireplace quick and easy. Good starter for the fireplace and firepit.

Works every time

Just set one at the base of your pyramid of compressed logs and light the rim. Lights it EVERY TIME even from a cold start. I don't have the time nor energy to mess with getting the WBS lit from cold, these never fail, even with compressed logs that are notorious for being a little difficult to get started from cold. I just light the Enviro-Log starter, close the door, and walk away, and come back to damp down a little in 15-20 minutes. It's that easy.
