Thermostat Keeps It From Working
Would Not RecommendI bought this to unblock a frozen pipe right at the joint where a bad hose faucet comes into the main line. The thermostat only turns the cable on when the pipe is 38 degrees or colder, and where the closest plug is the pipe was 52 degrees. I had to try wrapping a bag of ice around the pipe to get it COLD enough to turn it on. Ended up removing the whole thing, got out a heat gun, and thawed the pipe with that. Would not recommend this at all.
