Love this vacuum but the only hang up for me is how the wand goes down into the hose . It's not exactly user friendly and makes me feel like I'm gonna poke a hole in the hose , other than that it's and excellent product !

Great vacuum!

I bought this vacuum when it was a Lowe's deal of the day. While it is a great vacuum that really cleans my carpet, I can't imagine paying full price for it. I love that it picks up so much dirt and pet hair, it's lightweight, and it's so easy to maneuver around furniture and into small spaces. The attachments don't seem so great, but for the price I paid, I'm very happy! It is way less bulky than my last vacuum and is easy to clean. I definitely recommend it if you can find it for a great price...

Totally impressed with this sweeper and it does an excellent job. Thought our older Hoover did a good job on our carpet, but this vacuum pulled so much more additional dirt and dog hair from a section I had just cleaned. It's also very lightweight and simple to assemble and operate.

It's just okay

It is a compact vac, so very small with a short cord. It works well. I have a Dyson stick vac and a normal sized plug in (2 dogs, 2 cats, kid and 3 floors to clean). I would say the suction on this falls somewhere in between the 2. I needed something for my smaller up stairs floor. This will work but I might drag the big one up there once in a while for a deeper clean. I don't like that there is no way to lock the handle in the 'compact' position and the short cord. Other than those flaws it see...

Love My First Dyson

I love this vacuum. Super light, easy to use and sucks really well. I have 2 dogs and live in the country so lots of dirt and mud to clean all the time. Highly recommend. No place to keep all the attachments on the vacuum but I didn't really mind that much.

wife's favorite

I've been looking at Dyson vacuuums for years. They have always been rather expensive. Got this as a "Daily Deal". My wife loves it. Says it's the best vacuum she's ever used. Much better than her cannister vacuum (another brand).

Poor product

Got this for my parents and out of the box it didn’t work. We did all the necessary steps to put it together and did it multiple times. We even called Dyson and instead of them sending part and possibly not working we returned it and got them a shark.

Dyson does it again

Love this vacuum. It's lighter than the full size model by about seven pounds. Though it has a little less capacity than the full size model, it is great for vacuuming the steps without killing yourself by trying to use the big Dyson. Aside from that, this gets into tighter spaces than the full size model does.

Know what you are buying....

This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. It has some drawbacks but the result makes them worth it. Drawbacks: it will pick up so much from a normal sweeping that you may have to empty the vacuum every room or two (is that good or bad...??); it is a bit heavy especially with vacuum sucking at the carpet (but again, the gain is worth the pain).

Dotson vacuum

Just got this and it works really well. Major concern is it is almost all plastic. Time will tell. As I paid $187 for it after discounts I feel good so far

An in the park home run, just not over the fence.

Excellent at getting pet hair from carpet. I was blown away at how well it performed. The reason for my 4 star rating is that to use the attachments it is a little bit of a chore, and that the hose is stiff, and short. I realize it is mostly made and designed for using on floors. As far as that goes it's clearly a 5 star machine.

Light, maneuverability & power is impressive. Wish I had gotten another one for my mom.

Not what the hopla is all about!

I was actually disappointed! I got a great deal on a one day sale on a close out model and was very excited. But it really did not work as well as I expected. It does have good suction but just didn't live up to the commercials I have always seen. Bythe way, I usually have good reviews! This is my first poor review and it was still a 4.

LOVE IT!

We got new carpet and we needed a light weight vacuum for the stairs, but it is so great and easy to move around the house we use it for everything!
