I am not the vacuum user. My wife has lugged a quite heavy, quite expensive vac around for many years. I bought this, without her knowledge, brought it home, assembled, and set it in out of sight. When I came home she vacuuming the dog hair off the carpet.Won’t set it down!!!

Good Vacuum for the Price

I very recently purchased my first Dyson vacuum cleaner. ProsThe suction power is great and it thoroughly cleans my home. I have hardwood, carpet, and tile, and it does the job beautifully. HEPA filter for allergy issues. Cons: The cleaner is a bit flimsy, as it is light plastic, the extension wand needs to be a bit longer, as well as the electrical cord. Overall, a good choice-hope it lasts a while; I’m tired of buying vacuum cleaners that do not hold up!

Dyson compact ball

Love it! Didn’t know how dirty house was. Works easily. Havent ventured to extension system. Compact version of ball perfected the for my upstairs rooms. Stores quite easily in closet.

It's a perfect size and so convenient. Does a super job!

Handle mechanism is flimsy. Hose end accessories awkward to use. Vacuum sucks very well however. Picks up more dirt than previous other brands.

Light easy to use. Great pickup power.

not all dyson's work well

This is my second Dyson vacuum. my first was a multi floor big ball, but was used, I paid $100. well, I went to lowes and saw a great price on this Dyson. the 1st time I used to vacuum my room and living room floor, I thought wow, it is quiet, light and easy to put away. the 2nd time used, I'm ready to return to store. Not what I hoped

I have used and reviewed a fair amount of vacuums, and I really wanted to love this vacuum cleaner, but it is quite the opposite. Here is what I do like, it picks up MOST debris first pass. What I dislike is, it won't pick up things like Cheerios. The handle is plastic and not sturdy, feels like it will break in half. It does not have a quick want release like my Sharks do. Not like my other Dyson...

Got an email about this Dyson product being 50% off. We own the $500 Pet model and it is nice. We also own the handheld and it’s nice. This one not so much. It is very cheap made and I’m not even sure if it’s worth $220 on sale... Suction is very strong so far though but just very cheap made. We’ll keep it to have downstairs and be very careful with it.

Second vac

I purchased this vacumn to try a bag less,because it was an excellent price , and because I was interested in a smaller vac for “quick” jobs. Bought for 57% off. Used it once. Returned it.

Bought the Compact Allergy Plug Bagless for $199 on sale. Thought it was a steal until I used it. I thought I was going to break the handle the entire time I used it. It wouldn't even pick up a small piece of trash on the hardwood. Going back for forth over it would even move it. I think this product is just to get you to buy into Dyson, return it and buy a more expensive one.

better than advertised

I know these vacuums have a lot of hype over their performance. I was always a little skeptical. I bought one at a really good sale price, and i have to say it was definitely worth every penny. It is performing far better than i really expected. The only question i have is how durable it will be for long term use. I highly recommend this product.

Great Vacuum

Another great vacuum from Dyson. We have had one for almost a year and it does a fantastic job! This purchase was a gift for a relative and she needed a good reliable vacuum. Great for pet hair, and general vacuuming. The only downside is the cord which is rather rigid and has some memory. Other that the cord, this is a very nice lightweight product.

I love the vacuum. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. Having used Dyson for many years prior to this purchase, I was not disappointed.

This vacuum cleaner has so little suction it won't remove even dog hair. It's such a disappointment. Don't waste your money on this machine... Get an Electrolux if you want great suction. Also, this Dyson is cumbersom to use. The hose is so short that it's practically useless and if you pull on it at all, it flips over.

First time Dyson Owner

Excellent product. It meets all expectations. So happy with Dyson that two (2) weeks later I went back to lowes and purchased a new V8 Absolute stick vacuum. So happy with these two products...Expensive but worth it.

Lightweight, works great and easy to handle

I’m older with some disabilities and this is the right size for me. It is easy to pick up, to empty the bag less container and the handheld attachments are easy to maneuver.
