What Customers Are Saying
The Delta shower cartridge received mixed reviews. While some found it easy to install and effective at stopping leaks, many customers reported significant quality and reliability issues. The cartridge frequently started leaking within a short period, often requiring multiple replacements. Concerns were also raised about water flow, temperature control, and overall product quality. Despite a few positive experiences, the majority of reviews suggest this is an unreliable product that fails and requires repeated replacement.

Would RecommendEasy to install. This is a very specific item. My local Lowe's keeps these in stock and they are easy to find in the store.

Great replacement valve at a fair price.
Would RecommendThis valve was an exact replacement for my original delta valve. It came with everything needed for a successful replacement. Once installed you can easily set your temperature preferences. The valve works great.

Easy install
Would RecommendHad a hard time removing the old one due to hard water buildup, this one went in very easy, and lined up first try. It’s been working great for the past few weeks with no issues at all

Works but salty
Would RecommendFixes the dripping problem, but way too expensive. Had to replace in two showers so there went $150. Not only that, the last one I replaced lasted less than 3 years.

Works but costs more than other designs.
Would RecommendThis item fit and worked perfectly as a replacement to the original part. Older shower valves and other faucets often have replacement parts like rubber seals, and springs that are much less expensive and replaceable at a much lower cost with the same amount of work.

Would not recommend.
Would Not RecommendStarts to leak every 3 to 6 months. Replaced the O-rings and the cartridge twice. Last time I replaced the cartridge was November 2024. Correction, that is when I ordered it. Didn't arrive for 3 more weeks. It was a constant stream of water. I had to shut the water off to my shower after every use. The worst part is it's not even a good shower. The water pressure for the shower is weak.70% is plastic. Would not recommend.
