Would Not RecommendThis cartridge does not have a long life span. I've purchased 2 in the past four years giving it a lifespan of 2 years. It will suddenly start leaking and the only option seems to spend another $70.00 to replace it. Replacement is fairly simple and for most people would not require a plumber. Based on my experience, and that of others, it seems to be a case of poor product quality. The only other option would be to replace the entire shower unit and that is not really practical.

Would Not RecommendThis is a terribly engineered product, practically guaranteed to leak no matter how well it's installed. Didn't just leak, it went on fully despite being turned off. Do not buy!! Required us to turn the water off until we replaced it. Delta should be so ashamed they have not updated it's design.

Would Not RecommendI switched to Delta because Moen cartridges kept going bad after less than a year. Now every single one of the Delta showers (4) I put in my houses are leaking after only a year or two. Terrible quality. Delta should be ashamed.
