What Customers Are Saying
The Delta shower cartridge received mixed reviews. While some found it easy to install and effective at stopping leaks, many customers reported significant quality and reliability issues. The cartridge frequently started leaking within a short period, often requiring multiple replacements. Concerns were also raised about water flow, temperature control, and overall product quality. Despite a few positive experiences, the majority of reviews suggest this is an unreliable product that fails and requires repeated replacement.

Straightforward fix to non-working shower handle
Would RecommendMy shower cartridge had gone bad and was causing issues, so I picked up this Delta replacement. The installation instructions provided by Delta were excellent — clear, step-by-step, and easy to follow. Installation went exactly as I hoped it would, and the cartridge fully resolved the problem. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and it’s working great with no issues. Water flow and temperature control are back to normal. The only minor downside was that none were available on the shel...

Drip no more
Fixes the dripping faucet on our one handle shower. It was a little pricier than the other ones Lowe’s had available, but ultimately went with this one because it was identical to the one that was originally on the faucet. So far so good.

Make sure you check the valve inlet spacing!
Would RecommendOnce I got the correct part it fit perfectly!! Easy install! There are two almost identical versions. One is for pre 2006 and one for after 2005. The spacing between the hot and cold inlets is only about 2mm different but they are NOT Interchangeable.
