What Customers Are Saying
The Drylok Fast Plug product is generally effective at sealing cracks, holes, and leaks in concrete and masonry surfaces. Many users found it easy to use and that it worked well to stop water seepage. However, some noted it can be tricky to get the right consistency, though with practice it becomes easier to use. The product dries and hardens very quickly, so it's important to work in small batches and apply it rapidly.

Flooding in my basement
Would RecommendFrom all the rain I've had water coming in from between a wall and floor. I estimate from emptying my wet vac that the flow was 8 gal per hour. I had to stay up all night to vacuum and prevent a total flood on my family room. To fix, I opened the crack up with a masonry drill and put wet vac nozzle at end of crack to remove active water flow. I then mixed Drylok into a semi-firm consistency and wedged it into and along the crack. Getting the drylok to be the right consistency was key. I wore lat...
Drylok works well
Would RecommendBird bath was cracked and not holding water due to severe freeze in TN . Paint department employee thought this product would let me fix the problem. Drylok was easy to use and indeed did fix the problem. In fact we just went through a minor freeze of 20 degrees, not zero as before) and even after all the water froze the repair held up. Good product.

Have a plan and all will go well
Would RecommendWorks as described. Before mixing with water you need to know exactly what you are going to do with that portion of the mixture. Multiple small batches is much better than one large amount that will harden before you are finished.

Effective but hardens TOO quickly
Would Not RecommendAs others have mentioned, it hardens WAY too quickly. If it's your first time, it will very likely harden on you before you can finish the job. I do think the better way to use it is to just do very small batches but that also means mixing it up multiple times (more time). For small holes, I'll use it. For larger jobs, I'd probably look for another product due to the hassle.

Works exactly as directed on the label.
Would RecommendIt worked exactly as specified on the label description. If you follow their directions, you can't go wrong. I used this to patch a hole in the back of an old chimney to a residential home. (vertical patch, near the ground). There were already slabs of concrete inserted to help fill in voids. I used expanding foam (the simple cans you can buy at home improvement stores) to fill in-between the slabs. The next day, I made sure to trim excessive foam away and make a recessed area. I then mixed the...
