One of the best router I've used

It has been one of the best routers I've ever used. The soft start is really nice so you don't destroy your project, no matter what speed you are set at. It is definitely an investment though, I would not recommend this as a starter router purely due to its price. Although you do get what you pay for.

Lowe's shipped me a used item instead of new

I opened the box and saw the bag was worn out and dirty. I opened the bag and saw the the router was worn out due to excessive use. Come on Lowe's, you're better than that!!!

Power and versatile!

Alright! I am a professional home builder that uses my tools daily on the job for many different things. I don’t use the plunge stand often. So this review will not include that feature. 95% of the time I have this guy mounted To a table! It has a lot of power and I keep it turned down for most of the wood products I use. Southern Pine, Walnut, Maple, Cherry etc that realm. I can tell you I have never had a hiccup and it does it’s job on every piece of wood I throw at it! From time to time...

Exceptional Router

I had a cheap Ryobi before, this blow it out of the water . Cuts with ease. Definitely worth the high price.

Power meets finesse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this router based on the brand quality and I knew it would be a great tool but after using it, it exceeded my expectations. Power, versatility, ease of use, ergonomic and just a down right pleasure to use. The dust collection works great. Auxullary base, and other features put this router up there in my opinion. Now I want another one to replace my pc for my dedicated table cutter.

Best router Ive ever used

my goto router every time

Great router

It is powerful enough to do almost any job with no issues. I ended up mounting this in my table and it sees use almost daily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence for a while about "taking the plunge " ( sorry, couldn't resist) to buy a plunge router but I couldn't be happier that I did. This thing is a wood hungry monster. It has tackled everything I have thrown at it so far . Fluid plunge is an understatement as it plunges effortlessly. There may be better or stronger on the market but I don't need to find out because this one suits my needs to a T.

Questionably Engineered

I am a loyal DeWalt user. Very reliable tools in general, so this is the first one that I have had to repair. I cross threaded the collet nut, rookie move. You would think that, since we have all made that gaf once or twice, the collet taper would be easily replaceable. It is integral to with the rotor. You have to replace the entire motor armature. Such a versatile tool. Use this almost everyday. Smooth start is nice.

Freaky Plunge Router

I’m very happy with the new router. Primarily I bought it for building dovetailed drawers for my shop remodel. More than meets my needs and I will use it for more than just the drawers. I have many more projects in mind for this router and I plan on getting another because it’s rather inconvenient to have to change bits in between pins and tails.
