Don’t buy this

I had a small drywall job. The size of this was perfect BUT the quality is awful. This product is too lite and thin. After drying the drywall seam was visible across the room and the screw heads would not fill even after two coats. I ended up buying the regular joint compound and it worked great

Won't bed joint tape

This stuff is junk. I have tried multiple times to bed joint tape with this product and it always cracks. I have never had that problem with standard joint compound

of what i could use, it worked well

broke open during shipment and spilled a bunch out.

Waste of money and double the work

Literally has to be one of the worst products on the market. No matter what you do or how long you wait before painting, all it does it bubble up and crack. I finally got tired of trying to fit it and all the places I've used it I'm working getting it all scraped off including the paint. I'm really annoyed by this....so much more work to do.

Do not buy this garbage

Shrinks like crazy, it took three days of filling and drying to fill a hole the size of a dime. It sands well, but once painted, it all cracked. Now I have to sand, mud, sand, and paint again.

Low-dust Mud

Nice pink color while wet so you are able to see where it was applied. turns while when dry. but it does take a but longer to dry and set. and you really have to watch that the application is dry when you start sanding.

Wasted over a week because of this junk

Used DAP wall joint compound to fill two joints. Things were going great but needed a skim coat and thought I'd give the "low dust" formula a try. After two coats of paint, bubbles are forming and paint peels completely off requiring me to remove the later of paint and go back to square one. Hate I wasted a week but wish I'd stuck with the slow setting high dust (or even another brand). Didn't read the reviews and wouldn't have tried it if I had.

Expensive and doesn't work

It does shrink, had to cover screws 3 or 4 times before Phillips indentation stopped showing. Too lightweight, a slightly large gap on the ceiling the compound would drip out of the mesh tape.

Not for large patches.

I had a 2x2 area that was ready for the skim coat so I thought it could be ok for this since it says so on the package. Well, it didnt spread right leaving gaps here and there. I thought ill let it dry and cover those gaps on a second go. While i waited for it to dry it bubbled in various spots. It was still pretty wet so i ran the trowel over the bubbles only to see them come back. There were less of them but it should not have happned in the first place. This stuff is NOT for skimming. Do not waste your $$

Thought I'd give this a try for my renovation project. Tape curled off, not completely dry even after almost 48 hours. Trying to sand just clogs up the sandpaper.

No good

It started sliding down the wall a couple of hours after application. I need to start all over again. Absolute junk.

Unsatisfactory

I did a couple drywall joints before I gave up on this product. I could never get the joints to be quite right. It just doesn't want to disappear. I couldn't get a smooth finish. I used a putty knife to remove as much of it as I could and did the job again not using a pre-mix.

Very globby and chunky like cottage cheese

We found it very hard to work with compared to normal joint compound. Nearly impossible to feather and make smooth. Tossing this in the trash.

Tenant teenagers anger

It worked good for patching the holes that teenagers hand accidentally did. If I was more adapt at drywall work probably wouldn't have taken as long to get done. I just don't do it enough to be quick at it. It looks good just needs painted now.

Drydex

It is very quick drying and does well with small mail holes, it is thin so does run if applied to thickly
