A bit expensive for a ruler, however easy to read and reverse side has all numbers turned 90 degrees to aid in vertical measuring.

I was skeptical

This is the first time i jad heard of the tool company making knives. I checked one out next time in. The blister pack made it hard to really tell. But looked good enough for the price Ill have to say im pretty impressed. Seems well made good steel and seema to hold a good edge. The flipper opening works greaf. No spring action i dont think but a lot arent. Anyway opens smooth and quick. I chose rhis over the other model as or was a bit thinner. But now i may have to check one of those out.

Did the job

Does what you expect. Good quality was hoping I could change out bits but I should I read more prior to purchasing. Works if you need this particular bit.

Return needs to be stronger

Very easy to read. My old eyes appreciate that. Well thought out hook that stays hooked. But once the tape is extended a ways it needs help to recoil. Recoil works fine if you only extend it 10 ft or so, but beyond that..... Also the packaging isn't recyclable. Perhaps Lufkin (Crescent) could work on that.

Very handy

Handy little tool. Beats using a screwdriver. Lifetime warranty is key. Could be a little longer, but not a deal breaker. Not really too much else to say.

Inferior quality

I had high hopes for this. I did and do love the reverse black and yellow blade (Nite Eye). The case seemed durable enough and comfortable. That’s the end of the highlights. The blade is very weak. I had several wrinkles/kinks in it in the first 2 days. Less than a week in the blade tore in half. It may be ok for casual home use. It is definitely not a day in, day out commercial use quality tape. It is highly dissapointing for the price point.

Sleeved impact driver Phillips head bit

The sleeved impact driver bit by Apex appears to be a solid bit. I'm not a contractor or carpenter but do accomplish a bit of DIY home repairs. This solution to protect the wood surface finish is a good, well intentioned one. I'm sure if I were to regularly build cabinets, do interior and exterior finishing work, or something needing precision protection I might find this a handy bit to have in the tool box. Finally!

I've been looking for a driver bit like this. I'm glad there were two in the package because I fully intend to wear out the first one. They do seem to be exceptionally durable. As I grow older, my hands tend to shake a little. This lets me hold the bit against the screw head without the bit spinning in my fingers. The cross-tip itself is of a good design, hanging on to the screw well while moving the driver it to the hole.

Good bit but needs a magnetic tip

This is a good drill bit extender and does a good job of protecting materials around the tip, but the bit would be SOOO much better if they added a magnetic tip to hold the screw in place when drilling. My other extension has this and I find i keep going back to that instead.

Impact Protection

This is pretty slick and haven't seen anything like it. When putting on door hardware for several doors this keeps the door knobs from getting scratched. I have also used it in other applications as shown in the pictures. Anywhere you want to protect the finished product this is the bit to have. The outside sleeve spins easy but doesn't fall off or come off when using with an impact or drill. Handy little tool

These driver bits are very useful when it comes to helping you balance the drill and to protect surfaces around where youre working. By having the orange sleeve that rotates, you can hold it with your opposite hand to help guide the bit into the screw. This can save quite a bit of time if you are screwing in a lot of screws on a job site. Just what I need

I do a lot of installing rails etc. for a nonprofit I work for. It's one of those applications that require an extension on your bit to reach where you need to. The bonus on this one is that it protects the things you have to reach past. Also it gives you a place to hang on if you want to guide the bit by hand. I find I prefer this one to the extensions I was using before.
