product won't even make a turn in a 4" drain tile---useless!!!
Works but for how long?
Would RecommendBought the Cobra sewer snake to clean out the dryer vent that goes through my foundation. It did the job. The plastic casing seems to be a little week for the rod. Not sure how many uses before it splits open. Otherwise I like it.
Next best thing to jetting
Would RecommendHad a blocked up main line sewer. Tried the old fashion spring tip snake with no success. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Worked like a champ, would highly recommend for hair, grease and the normal everyday clogs. Probably not going to work for root intrusion.
Great buy
We had a plumber come out and fix a backed up sewage line. Cost about $300 all total. I went to Lowe's to pick up a plastic sewer cap (so that the water flooding would push it off instead of back into our house). Guy there told me he used to work for city of Coppell and said I need to use this machine next time. I've had to use it three or four times since so it's paid for itself many times over.
Not to go through a multiple 90's
Would RecommendBought an older home, that had been empty for a decade. had a main-line stoppage. Lifted only toilet in house and tried this. Couldn't get it through trap and another 90 down-line. Have done plumbing for years, so also bought a snake machine.

Would RecommendAfter unsuccessfully trying the 50ft coil snakeon the main line, I gave this a shot. It took some effort but after 10-15 minutes the clog broke. Still much quicker and cheaper than calling a plumber. Well worth the money.
