Product is very poor

We only buy Charmin Ultra Soft. Apparently the last time we bought some, all they had was Essentials brands so we got the Strong. It's hard to understand why you would make such an inferior TP. Single-ply?!? seriously?!? We've been using twice as much, obviously, and besides that.....it's rough. This should not have the famous Charmin name on it!

Product not worth the money

This product is in no way STRONG. In fact it is so thin and weak that you can actually see through it. Because of this, it requires that you use up to 3 times as much tissue.

Not Charmin!!

I have never bought a roll of Charmin that wasn't soft until now. I bought this toilet paper with the assumption that it would have the same feel that every roll I have ever bought did, but no, this feels like the most generic public bathroom toilet paper you could ever find. Unfortunately, I bought the 12 pack and every time I use I think about how awful this toilet paper is. If it wasn't so challenging to get toilet paper, I would honestly through it all out. I don't know how they can use ...

Not Charmin quality that I expected

I bought Charmin Strong Essentials assuming it was the same as Charmin Strong. Wrong! I was so disappointed at how thin it was and how rough it felt.

I love charmin tissue!!

I love this charmin toilet paper!! It is the best toilet paper ever and I live by this tissue!! I am a forever customer and have found what works for me and my household!! I absolutely love it!!

Charmin essential toilet paper

This is not up to charmin standards. I love the regular in the blue packing, the strong/red and the essential is terrible and to thin. Very disappointed.

Worst paper ever

I bought 3 packs of this , it was the only kind on the shelf with this Covid going on and toilet paper is hard to find. It is the worst paper ever. It is too thin and rough. It’s like wiping with sand paper.

Product is not the same as when I first bought it.

I have purchased this product for months and was impressed with the quality and softness of the paper. I noticed lately a change in the paper. It is thinner and very irritating to my skin, It actually falls apart when wet. Not a good thing. It is a cheap 1 ply I could get anywhere for very much cheaper. I gave you the benefit of a doubt and bought another package it is the very same cheap paper. Is this the new normal for this toilet paper? If it is you have certainly lost a customer.

Read the SMALL print of this SINGLE PLY paper

It has holes in it! More than a few! I thought maybe it was a fake, rather than genuine. But I guess not. I would return it but I had already opened it and distributed rolls between bathroom closets.

Single Ply = paper thin = yuck!

I'm all for saving the planet 1 toilet paper roll at a time but really this stuff is nasty. I unfortunately bought this as our usual 2 ply are off the shelves now. Single ply is one step away from camping in the outdoors. Yes is it stronger but keep in mind this is Single Ply, something we had years ago. I NEVER buy Scott for this reason. Hoping the reg. supplies of the Soft - 2 ply return SOON PLEASE!

Product package is MISLEADING...

Strong Essential IS NOT STRONG. As a senior on fixed income I thought I was buying your REGULAR STRONG. It is very thin and I have to use TWICE AS MUCH...very costly on a fixed income.

Essential Roll

We have used Charmin for years and my son bought Essential roll, after we used it we were unhappy with it. Not realizing it was one ply, and falling off the paper roll as well. Next time we will make sure we do not buy that style again.

Product is disappointing.

The sheets were so thin that I thought I was using another brand of toilet paper. I have been using Charmin for years but may have to find another brand.

Terrible and rough

We used to always use economy toilet paper and switched to Charmin about 2 years ago when our budget wasn't so tight. I accidentally bought this when doing online shopping not realizing it wasn't regular Charmin This is terrible. It's thin and rough and as my husband says it's equivalent to the generic stuff you get in a gas station bathroom. Definitely not worth the Charmin name or the price tag attached.

You'll be disappointed if you're a Charmin fan.

I've been buying Charmin for years, it's the best toilet paper. I unwittingly purchased essentials just thinking there was a difference in bulk, not quality. I was wrong. This is the cheap thin garbage toilet paper that I try to stay away from. So disappointed. Also I can't get a refund because you need your original reciept. All I can say is, if the packaging is yellow, stay away.

It is horrible

The Charmin essential Strong is horrible!! It feels like sandpaper and you have to use 3 times as much because it’s so thin!! Was that your goal Charmin? Do we have to trade between strong or soft? How about both Charmin? Change this or I go back to cottonelle

Like paper towels in gas station restrooms!

Usually buy the original, traditional Charmin-- what Mr Whipple used to sell. Bought this stuff by accident. About as soft as station restroom paper hand-towels. This stuff should not use the Charmin brand name, it is confusing (but perhaps that was the intent!). I won't make that mistake again, and would warn others to be careful when shopping too!
