Does a really good job of telling meat temp instantly. I put a meat thermometer into meats on the smoker but as it gets to finished temperature I use this to probe around to different areas and gives accurate readings. Excellent product

Simply the Best

I originally bought one of these about six years ago and it served me well until I dropped it about twenty feet. I purchased this one because it is simply the beast sensor made. Quick reaction time, user controlled temperature settings along with the standard meat settings. This device is so accurate I use it to verify my weather station readings as well as water heater setting and room temperatures. BUY IT! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Good design

It is very accurate as I checked it with an older one I had that was in a fork and this one is easier to gt to different parts of the meat.

Works really well as a thermometer. Just seems to have operating options that require a bit of training before being able to operate to its' full capacity. But it's still a good tool for what we needed.

Works as far as I can tell

I generally smoked meat with a leave-in thermometer but wanted to be able to spot check the Thanksgiving turkey and be confident. Using this told me there were a few cool spots and I needed to leave it on a bit longer. No one got sick, so I’m assuming that this thermometer works.
