Has done everything I wanted it to do and it was super easy to install and start isinf

Just Okay

I purchased this to go with my Wi-Fi-enabled Chamberlain garage door, so I could easily change the PIN. It works well most of the time, but I've had a lot of issues setting temporary PINs. Reddit offers some workarounds to get it working.

Good product - Battery could be better

The keypad and video function are good. I like that I cane et codes for different people. The reason I gave it four stars is the battery lasts a couple months and then has tobe re-charged. The reason-charging takes several hours. Most recently It was at 30% and had to be left off overnight because, after 8 hours, the light had not turned green, so I am unsure how many actual hours it took. Seems much too long for a security device.

Clarity is very clear easy to set up

Very easy to program, feels very well built, you can add people family or friends to have access when needed

Be sure to get the WIRED one, NOT this battery one

I thought it was 'wired' (like my other one) but it is 'battery ONLY' and the battery only lasts about 3 months, so I deducted 1 star for that. Otherwise it is great and very functional for driveway security and easy garage access if car's remote is not working, even though it also being a Chamberlain on MyQ would be rare.

Very good home security investment

We have the Garage Door Video Keypad and are more than satisfied with it. We live in Michigan and were in Wisconsin visiting relatives. Our daughter wanted to get into our house to get something she left there but she couldn't remember the code to open the garage door so she called me to see if she could get into the house. From Wisconsin, 320 miles away, I opened the garage door from the My Q App on my phone. I was able to see her on the video and talked to her like I was standing next to her. ...

Quick setup right out of the box

Easy to mount and set up. The seamless integration into the myQ app with my other myQ devices is a big plus. Great resolution and playback.

Returned

I returned it within a few days. The battery drained too quickly and I had other issues trying to link it to my Lift Master garage door opener.

Don't waste your time

I bought this to let in the dog sitter while traveling and couldn't even get it connected to the app on my phone. I chatted customer support like the app tells you to do and got no where with the AI agent. I called in and got ahold of someone who could speak English but couldn't comprehend it. After 5 mins of trying to explain the problem and getting asked irrelevant questions I hung up. Buyer Beware

This product requires either the proper wifi enabled garage door motor or another oroduct to be used to connect to an appropriate garage door motor. That second product need an electric outlet in a specified location and a strong wifi signsl. Too much!!! It is just not worth it.

Pretty dysfunctional modern art. Don't buy it.

Just a horrible product. Mine is mounted 3 feet from a WiFi radio whereI get 500 mbits/second from a cellphone. The. MyQ barely gets 2 bars. The battery takes 8 hours to charge and drains fast especially in cold weather. Worse yet it loses connection and stops working and you have to reset the WiFi settings constantly. The end user management is clunky at best. Deleting users or modifying credentials is a pain in the you know what. If Chamberlain is going be in this business they better s...

Clear video, easy install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This garage door opener is great. Video is clear and I already had the My Q app so it was a breeze to install. Now maybe I can figure out who is knocking and running from my door!

Good product but disappointed

I bought 3 of these to replace older door openers. Great product and easy to install. Disappointed that they don’t have the ability to record to an SD card. The monthly plans to store are too expensive and not affordable. So I’m sticking with with seconds of live recording. I will have to replace these with a SD card product down the road.

Horrible nighttime time images

The image quality at night is horrible. It works great during the daytime.

The price is right!

Love it! Easy to install and sync with the new garage door opener. The camera is quite clear and colorful. And the price at Lowe’s was amazing compared to other stores.

Valuable keypad for travellers

Easy to set up and really helpful to let the cat sitter in when we are out of town.

Ok, we had a very hard time getting this to connect with the opener, etc…. After we finally got them synched it works like a charm and I love it…

Complete waste of money

This is actually no better than the access panel that came with the garage door opener. Who cares if I can click on the app and see my driveway. If someone isn’t breaking into my car at that moment, then it’s of no use because if someone does break into it unless I’m paying a subscription, it doesn’t record anything making it no better than what came with the garage door opener.
