Would Not RecommendDoesn't work with my motor even though it is supposed to be universal. I matched the light with the programming, but no luck.

Failed to program with my craftsman operator.
I purchased this new last week. It won't open the door. In programming the motor unit will flash like it has accepted the code but entering the code ÷ enter has no result.

Works in Any Weather
Would RecommendWe live in SE Wisconsin and have had this keypad for over 10 years. It has never failed us, even in BELOW 0° weather! Also it's easy to install and program - all you have to do is what most people don't like... follow the instructions - or video!

Stops Working
Would Not RecommendThis worked great for about a year but now it only works sporadically. I've read that cold weather can affect functionality. The weather has gone into the 30s so maybe that is it. I put a new battery in and checked the wires....all seems okay there. Going to have to find another option as my kids use this to get into the house after school.

Simply doesn't work in cool temps.
Would Not RecommendI've been dealing with this problem with 3 different units over the past 20 years. Trust what other people are saying on here. They lose function in cool weather; when you need it most. I keep buying new ones thinking it will fix it. No, it did not fix the problem... Not sure what to do since I have 3 Liftmaster Professional units in my garage.

Install Manual Blows
I followed the instructions on the installation manual that came with the 877Max and it didn't work. Saw the Youtube video on here and followed those steps and it was correct. Manual states, "Press * # until stops blinking, enter PIN, press Enter the number of times to match your opener, press 0, press Learn button, enter PIN, press Enter". Video says, "Press * # until stops blinking, press Learn button, enter PIN, press Enter the number of times to match your opener, press 0."

Has never failed
I’ve owned this for 10 years plus and it has never failed me. I recently replaced a 40 year old garage door and a 10 plus year old LiftMaster opener and keypad. My pad has always been exposed to 9 hours a day of direct Florida sun. The only reason I replaced the keypad is that my new opener came with a keypad. Other than replacing the battery every few years I have never had a problem with it. I hope to get the same performance, reliability and durability from this as I did with my old one.

Good remote opener
Easy to pair and like that it is just a four digit code vs the older version needing five digits.

877MAX Does Not Work Below 50 degrees Fahrenheit
Would Not RecommendFor the past two winters my 877MAX does not work when the temperature goes below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Since tin based solder changes crystal structure at approximately 13 degrees Celsius, I suspect a circuit board solder joint temperature dependence problem.

Excellent replacement unit
Would RecommendEverything was as expected. This was a replacement for our 20 year old unit. Fairly easy to install.
