Off to a rocky start

I got the machine unboxed, followed the directions and when I started the brew cycle, I got an error message to "add water". I looked in the user guide and went through the trouble shooting and that did not help. Not sure where to go from here as the carafe looks to be unblocked and I don't see anything weird in the seating feature. Some water did make it through to the grounds, but even after unplugging, restarting, etc., it will only get 5 or 6 seconds into the brew cycle before the "add wa...

I love this coffee maker! The enclosed booklet manual was a nice feature which made it easier to set up without having to have my computer handy just to turn it on. Love the options of single serve and a thermal carafe rather than having brewed coffee burning on a heater in a breakable glass carafe. not impressed

I like the design of this coffee maker but the amount of coffee it makes, and it shuts off and on various times while using. Then it uses so much coffee beans which is an ridiculous amount for what it pours out.

Beautiful Appliance and makes great coffee

So Quiet!!!! Thanks for clear instructions! Seems high quality! Very heavy and so seems very sturdy. Set it to the Gold Standard and brewed 6 cups and it was perfect ;) used the gold mesh filter. Clean up was simple. I am using a Zero Water 52 cup dispenser to remove dissolved solids from water and so am hoping with that and the Cafe Makers carbon filter the scale will be minimized and will last long. Best coffee machine there is!

I absolutely love this machine. Constantly making a cup or a pot with it. I have automated settings for the work week, weekends, and a quick cup, etc. Absolutely amazing! It is the only coffee machine I have seen that has wifi, grinder, single cups, pot, a mobile app, and does your taxes j.k. (maybe next generation??)

Love the look; Loathe the function

** When ** the grinder works, it makes a great coffee. The grinder will not "pull" the beans to grind; if you're not standing over your coffee pot to help "feed" them in, you will only have hot water. At first, we thought it was just a fluke but it's happening more and more often. We have cleaned the grinder, adjusted the coarseness settings but nothing is working. Definitely not worth the money.

Disappointed. Settings don't work.

Disappointed with this purchase. There are four coffee, strength settings, from light p to the top setting called golden. No matter which of these I select the grinder delivers the same amount of coffee into the basket and even on the light setting the coffee Is too strong to drink. On every setting the basket is completely full To the top. It is grinding so much coffee on every basket whether I choose 4 cups or 9 cups light drink or strong. Water issues

I just got this coffee maker. LOVE the look. Also love fresh ground coffee. I have used for three days and water is all over my counter. I’m not sure if I need to return. Makes me so sad because I really love the machine but having the water all over isn’t convenient.

Good coffee maker. Hard to clean. The carbon filters are not available which makes the coffee maker unusable after 6 months

Christmas morning brew

I set up my Cafe brewer X-mas morning. Thanks Santa. I followed instructions, connected to the app. Then added beans. Set brew for 4 cups, utilizing the insulated carafe. Absolutely marvelous coffee. I said goodbye to my Keurig. I have a potpourri of beans to try. So many options to experiment with. Cheers!☕

Love the look. Coffee taste great and brewed quickly. Delay did not work for me but used preground coffee so not sure what happened. Will buy coffee beans today and try again. Instructions that came with it are vague, not detailed. Do I use the smaller basket inside larger basket for single serve?
