Love this coffee maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am loving this coffee maker! I am a bit of a coffee snob. This was easy to set up, and easy to use. I love the strength options. Cleaning and maintaining is quick and easy! This is a huge improvement over my last bean grinding coffee maker.

Almost great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this...but the reservoir leaks. It's not how I'm seating it in the base...it drips slowly even when I am filling it. If I leave water in the reservoir after brewing, it slowly leaks out...over the LCD screen, which apart film being annoying to clean up, can't be good for the electronics. I want to persevere because otherwise it's great. But....sigh

Minor irritant

I utilize 1:15 ratio of water to beans. The machine always asks me to add water. A minor irritation but I do not know how to accept my judgement.

Great coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought this to replace our DeLonghi after it stopped working. We wanted a coffee machine that would grind or use pre-ground coffee. We also wanted the ability to make different size cups. This does it all, and it makes a great cup of coffee. Looks great on the counter too. Glad we bought it.

I also did not experience the leaking issue that others have experienced (I was careful not to over-tighten after inserting the filter and only add water from the top). Stopped working less than one year

I have had this coffee maker for less than one year. The grinder completely stopped working. I’ve disassembled it twice and cleaned it every which way I can. Still will not work. I do not recommend this to anyone. You will be wasting your money.

Great taste, modern look, must maintain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this coffee maker... The taste we get from freshly ground coffee is remarkably better than pre-ground coffee and now we can't go back! Also, this is truly the only nice looking modern coffee maker. It always draws attention of our house guest and they comment on how cool looking it is. The only downside is that to really keep this machine running well, you need to stick with maintaining it. Make sure to replace the water filter regula...

Was very excited at first but keeps breaking.

First time the water wouldn’t pull from the reservoir at all, so I went through probably a three week process to get it replaced. Now it’s broken again about 6 months after getting my first one totally replaced. This time no matter what cup size setting you have, it only grinds like 4 tbsp of grounds.

It has everything

Excellent coffee taste and easy to use. Set on Gold and grind 3. Easy setup and directions. Attractive. Love the built in grinder

Love it!

Love my Cafe Grind and Brew coffee maker! Two suggestions for improvement: 1) Why is there a black power cord on a white coffeemaker and on (what most of us have) a white counter? That looks terrible! 2). How about an option for slide verses grip feet? I have to place the coffeemaker on a placemat in order to slide it out from under the cabinet in order to add water and coffee beans.

Beautiful but now leaks

I have been loving this brewer for less than a year. Looks great, makes great coffee and adjusts to taste during dinner parties. I recently descaled it and now it leaks at the water reservoir when placed in position, I’ve done all the troubleshooting including replacing the o-ring. Tempted to buy another reservoir but my confidence is low.

Water Reservoir failure

Purchased through Cafe 2 plus years ago. The water reservoir discharges water over the counter. This happened a few times early on. I attributed it to the way I seated the full container back on the maker after filling. But no matter what I do, it would occasionally discharge. I chalked it up to user error. This week it emptied water over the counter 3 times. The gasket was replaced after the first failure. Hence, I am reduced to adding little water each time a cup of coffee is made or not use...

Disappointed

It makes great coffee, but it is not holding up. All the plastic parts are stained and the interior of the pot is peeling at upper rim.

Perfect coffee!

Loving the machine, seems sturdy enough to work for years. The only gripe I had was the silly flimsy plastic guides for the carafe top - instead of a solid button, it has tiny u-shapes that broke the first day, fell into the carafe and ended up in my mouth. It was cheerfully replaced by the company & received right away, so no harm done, but it's a design flaw that could result in someone swallowing the plastic pieces. Beef up that vital area & I would rate the entire unit 5 stars!

Best Coffeemaker owned in 40 years!

Best coffeemaker I have ever owned! Love the carbon filters and ease of replacement. I use only Zero Fiktered water ( no dissolved solids). The app makes things so easy!! I usually set at 4 or 6 cups ( set as favorites). The only thing is if your kitchen is cold the carafe is cold and has a cooling effect on coffee temp. You can preheat w hot water if that is a big deal. But it’s better than burning coffee! You can nuke for 30 seconds if u don’t think hot enough. I generally don’t mind. Flavor i...

Good design

Love the wifi feature. wake up and press brew. Makes a good cup of coffee. I put in my 24 oz and its all done automatically. A little cleaning but nothing crazy. I hoped someone would make a pour-over type machine like this.

5 year owner and still loving our coffee

My husband and I were using the carafe for making our coffee but recently moved to brewing individual cups. We are saving coffee and it always tastes so much better freshly brewed! If I would make one suggestion is would be for the carafe pour spout to be modified.

Great Replacement for our Cuisinart Grind and Brew

After 20+ years of being a loyal Cuisinart Grind and Brew customer, I replaced our Cuisinart with Cafe's Grind and Brew machine. We are in love. The machine looks gorgeous on our counter (we bought the white model), and the functionality is top-notch. I love that we can adjust the brewing temp--a feature not offered through Cuisinart. The app is easy to use, and I love that I can make a single travel cup.

Love this coffee maker!

I’ve had this machine for over a year now and it’s doing just fine! No mechanical issues whatsoever. The carafe doesn’t keep smaller amounts of coffee warm for very long. We rarely make a full pot. We usually use the Gold or Bold brew strength setting. They both brew delicious coffee. The design is beautiful and has held up nicely. We don’t put any of the parts in the dishwasher. Also, I was able to find filters on a third party site that work for this machine when this website was sold out.
