chain comes off
Would Not Recommendmade 4-5 cuts on some small branches, about 1" diameter and the chain came off. put it back on, made a cut and it came off again. did that 2 more times with the same result. now I'm taking it back and I really hate it since I have other Craftsman tools that use the same battery. I should have read the reviews.

Good battery life and powerful enough to take on medium sized trees. It worked well on a 30ft tree with an 18 inch trunk. This includes cutting off all the branches and limbs. The only negative in my experience is leaking oil when stored for long periods of time.

Giving 1 Star Because Of Lowes Not Craftsman
Ordered brand new (of course) and upon opening the box, there is grease and sawdust all over the chainsaw. Look I get customers may bring back a tool and it gets resold, but I bought a brand new saw not a used one and if you were going to sell me a used saw you could have knocked down the price and if you wanted to pass of a used saw as a new one to me as a customer you could have had the decensy to clean it up before shoving it back in the box!
