It works well on tiny trees but it broke after the forth tree. It is destroyed now.

Complete trash

I just wanted a small electric chain saw to prune small trees and pushed at house, it throws the chain constantly! Avoid this product

Great for what it is!

Had a tree limb come down and needed to cut it up. I bought this because I have the leaf blower and string trimmer, and I did not want a different battery set. Worked well, chain came off, adjusted the tension and back to work. Took an hour to clear the limb. The way I look at it, I paid myself $239 to clear the limb, got some firewood, and I walked away with a chain saw. If I ever need it again, it's there.

Hoping this is better than the previous craftsman battery saw--it was very bad--gears stripped and Lowes wouldn't help-said that you would have to get with the manufacturer--after reading so-so many bad reviews on the early version I wasn't going to mess with that process. Lowes need to back their products from their return customer service areas. You will lose customers if you don't back what you sell-- no matter what the name brand. We buy from YOU not them. Upset John.

Feel like a chainsaw master

My husband hasn’t stopped using this thing since we bought it and basically thinks he’s Paul Bunyan.

Ready to use

Easy to use right out of the box. You do need to buy chain oil, it doesn’t mention that on the box. Not the most powerful saw but for the money it’s great. I had limbs fall during a storm and needed something quick. It worked perfectly. It’s easy to take apart and clean if needed.

6" chainsaw

No angle cuts

Works great sometimes chain falls of bar.

Good light duty saw.

Light weight but not too light. Battery works with other craftsman tools. Will have to be careful to not get too ambitious.

chain comes off

made 4-5 cuts on some small branches, about 1" diameter and the chain came off. put it back on, made a cut and it came off again. did that 2 more times with the same result. now I'm taking it back and I really hate it since I have other Craftsman tools that use the same battery. I should have read the reviews.
