[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have same issue that others state about string and head. Also seems as if it’s reviving too fast. Only had for 4 months.

Does the job

Easy to use and cranks easy.

The Bump Head exploded

The motor started right up runs very well. I replaced the bump head, which is a piece of garbage with the new metal 3 blade metal head that worked excellent but not good for grass or small weeds.That’s what the string was for this happened the first time I used it

Older editions sucked less

Buy this tool ONLY if you already own multiple attachments. The STRING head is so poorly designed that grass wraps around it and forcing you to stop using it to unwind the grass and weeds. Use it for 5 minutes, unwind this stupid head for 5 minutes. I bought it because my other one just suddenly froze up and I already owned four attachments. Craftsman needs to recall this piece of junk (the string trimmer attachment) and send out a functional head.

Just what I needed a double spool trimmer, lightweight and durable.

Very disappointed

My daughters bought this for their dad for Father’s Day. He has used it 3 maybe 4 times and it bogs down and doesn’t want to work. My husband can not get it to work properly and we feel our girls wasted their hard earned money on a defective product.

It's loud

It's light in weight.

You'll end up returning this product a few times .

The parts are lesser quality than the stuff on the bottom of my shoe.

low quality, abysmal customer service

I will not buy products like these from Lowe's anymore. Lowe's refused to let me return the item when the Craftsman weedeater head twisted off after a few hours of use and directed me to contact Craftsman warranty. My receipt said items could be returned within 30 days and it was not until I returned it to the counter when I was told I only had 48 hours to return since its a Craftsman product leading me to believe that Lowe's knowingly sells defective products. Bought mine about two years ago. It's only on its second summer and no longer starts at all unless I completely disassemble and reassemble the carburetor. I have to do this EVERY TIME I go to weed eat my yard. Absolutely infuriating, and absolutely crap. Ended up turning my trimmer into an equally crap sledgehammer.
