Broken weeder

Just bought this weeder today and was weeding the driveway area at my house. The head of the weeder broke off one of the line eyes that feeds out the string. I was told that I can bring it back and Exhange it so hopefully the new one will be better. at this time, I don't like it because of the plastic head.

Does the job I need it to but, Burned fuel quickly. Had to fill twice to complete work. Also doesn’t take in new trim line evenly when loading.

This is the second one I’ve bought in the last year. Last one stop working after 6 months. Can’t find anyone that will work on them. Definitely a pricey though away tool.

Bad engine design.

Worked great until it didn't. Engine failure at around a year of normal residential use. Engine locked up and was not able to crank. I have a mechanical background so i took it apart and found piston rings broken and the "crankshaft " pin backed out and started wearing into the crankcase cover.

Works well, but process to start takes a while and does not always start. Usually have to go through process 2x. Otherwise works great.

Purchased this back in June 2022. A little over a year and has stopped working. This is the second one and it has happened again. I purchased the 3 year warranty and took it to Lowes. Lowes said I needed to contact Craftsman and that they could not do a thing for me. Of course I called the Craftsman number and it’s only open Monday - Friday 8-5. Will be calling Monday. This is a piece of junk that only last a year.

Broken craftsman weedeater

Don’t buy a craftsman! We have purchased 2 blowers and 3 weed eaters with attachments for our yard and each of them have gone out within 6 months or so! Lowes and craftsman do not guarantee their products all though the box says 2 year warranty! We have spoken with the both of them and they were no help! Will Never use craftsman again!

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Bought the WC2200 a little over a year ago and has already stopped running. Before completely quitting it got to where it would not idle, had to feather the throttle to make it run. Lowes told me I had to contact Craftsman for warranty. Contacted Craftsman and they didn't care to help at all. This trimmer was a gift so I don't have a receipt and without that they say I'm pretty much stuck with it, even though the manufacturing date on the unit is still under two years. Terrible customer service ...

Happy with my Craftsman Trimmer

I am very pleased with the purchase. It's a quality product with easy set up and operation. I do wish the instruction book was online as its paper and very flimsy. I did search for it online and found it though.

ABSOLUTELY NOT

I bought this a couple of years ago. Always had trouble, hard to start, flooded easily and worst of all overheats and vapor locks after 15 minutes of use. Replaced the carburetor with no success stalls after about 15 minutes. The sad thing is Lowes jacked the price $40 bucks. So no don't buy this one, run away...
