Junk. Don't buy.

Bought it last year at Lowes for 150 dollars. Didn't use it alot. Tried to use it this year but the pull cord came out. Took it to a shop, paid 50 dollars. Brought it home and it won't fire for anything. Tried everything then ended up throwing it across the garage. Piece of crap!!!! Do not recommend.

This weed eater is good deal for the price.

Light weight and when its running is quiet.

Be careful of buying these units w/Plastic Heads.

I used it one time for about 45 minutes and the head assembly is pretty beat up from "Bumping" the head to advance the string line.

Not a good product. Breaks easily.

Breaks easy. Keep having to return. Flexible shaft breaks way to easy and way to often. Pull cord gets stuck fully extended. Idle out of the box is way too high. Not a good product.

string coming undone and complete mess

when I opened the box the string head was loose and all of the string was unwound! No instructions that I can understand so I tried and tried to re wind it and finally got it back together but it came apart again. how do I get it re wound???

Amazingly Disappointing Product & Customer Service

WC2200 starts when cold, but will not start after warm up, making it useless for multi attachment use... the reason it was purchased. I used fresh non-ethanol gas and followed all instructions. Trimmer was defective out of the box on first use and Lowes and the manufacturer (MTD/Craftsman) will not replace it or refund my money after 5 days! Worst retail experience ever! Manufacturer says I must go to service/warranty center which is 1 hr, 20 minutes away round trip, service center says mini...

Best weed eater I have ever had. It is lightweight and easy to handle. My favorite part is how easy it is to load new string. Also, after using the weed eater, I have found that emptying the gas back into my gas container and cranking it to run the rest of the gas out of the carburetor, makes the life of the weed eater last longer.

Ran once, never again

Only time it ran when I started it for the first time, I turned off and it never ran again

Complete junk

After purchasing one of these Craftsman trimmers that only lasted just over 2 years, I purchased another one, because I have many Troy Built attachments. (My Troy Built trimmer lasted nearly 8 years). Of course the new Craftsman died at just over 2 years as well. It's not the carburetor, I had that replaced and no difference.
