I love the printer, but too dumb for instructions
I love my printer. I think the documentation is somewhat inadequate, but I ended up figuring out how first to assemble, and use my printer. So I guess the docs were adequate. It took me an hour or so during two instances to finally get the toner in and out over assembly and first toner change.

Prints great, but software updates freeze it up
This printer prints well, but it won't print at all wirelessly. It only prints when connected by USB. And the software updates make it freeze up and not work at all. I have to go back in and start from scratch.

Wifi no fly
Printer seems to work ok, however the wifi network hookup is lacking. Our older MFC- 2700 Hooked up very easy to our home network this newer model is quite wonky on network hookup. Seems to want to keep going back to bluetooth. Then I have to reset the network & reenter password. Seems in this day & age a plug & play auto connect would easily work & only have to enter password once & the printer would retain the settings.

This Brother printer has operated flawless. The 2 side scan and print feature is the best I have owned, great design would buy again if needed and it is fast!

It’s okay
Easy to setup for printing. Not easy to set up for scanning. Print quality is lighter than expected. Fairly quiet. Remote printing is good.
