Very disappointed with the low resolution of scanning pictures. Nice to have longer lasting inks, but I would not have purchased this printer if I had known about the limited resolution from scanning. The fault is mine, but I will not purchase another product from this manufacturer again.

Connectivity issues
I have owned several Brother products and always liked them. But, my new scanner will not work to the iMac computer or from the computer to the Brother. The copy and print functionality is good, scanning is not. I have downloaded their software several times and still no luck.

I can’t believe I can print out so much! I love the fact that I can send pictures from my phone to the printer. I have 2 phones, an iPad and a Mac mini connected to this wirelessly. I think I’ve printed over 300 papers as of today and still running. 👍🏼👍🏼

Can't choose which tray to use manually.
I purchased because it has two trays but there is no way to choose what tray to use manually. I spent time with tech and the only way to use trays separately is to have different size paper. I have standard paper for default printing and perforated paper for invoices, both are the same size, but they are different, and the machine isn't smart enough to see the difference, but neither is the human that programed it.
